Kanye West recently wore a gimp mask and praised Adolf Hitler. He said there was some good in Hitler. I’d argue yes - but with a caveat. The only good thing in Hitler was the bullet that went through his brain. Hitler and the Nazis were sick fucks. They were serial killers operating on such a scale that a new word had to be coined to describe their crime: genocide. The Nazis turned the lights out in the eyes of millions of people that should have been looking into the eyes of others with love. They were responsible for the murder of babies, women, children. They were responsible for bloodshed, chokings, hangings, people drowned in filth. They were responsible for corpses rotting in the open. They were responsible for entire family trees being torn out by the roots. They have zero to offer as role models. There is no good in Hitler other than the bullet in his brain. Even then his suicide wasn’t an act that showed a final flourish of good character. It was the act of a rat who wanted to rule the world but whose opponents caught him in a trap he couldn’t escape. Hitler’s suicide was an act of rampant egotism. It was the action of a man who couldn’t bear to live in a world where he wasn’t absolute ruler.
