Got back to Tel Aviv after some days in the desert. I actually felt depressed to get here. The air here is slimy and smelly. The air in the desert was like warm cuddles from angels. The noises here are loud and with nothing to stay. The desert is silent and says everything. The wind that rushes over the hills in the desert at dusk is a rush of stampeding angels on horseback. Even when the wind blows over the lifeless legs of dead beetles in the dust it’s okay. Parched throat of the ground too dry to even cough. Sea shells from a forgotten era when water dripped here. When you got nothing you don’t need nothing. The stones are good company. The desert is alright. Shit food delivery though. Tel Aviv has got that edge.
