NICE RESTAURANT
I've never really spent any time with people with special needs, I don't even know if that's the correct terminology these days and I don't want to romanticise or be patronising about these human beings who have their own life thang to be getting on with, but I'm sitting next to a table of adult special needs guys who are with their carer. They've been sitting eating in silence and then one of them just piped up and said, "We're in a nice Chinese restaurant", and the others nodded and agreed and they've carried on eating in silence. My heart felt all gooey. This restaurant is a shithole but he's right - this is a nice Chinese restaurant and it's good to be in the game.
